Frequently Asked Questions
How to I receive assistance?
Ask
for it! As simple as this may seem, our personal pride and ego usually
restricts us from asking another for help. It is the intention of our
Organization to provide services and material support to those individuals who
most need assistance. Specifically, if you think you need financial or
other assistance for a service PLEASE ASK FOR HELP.
Furthermore, each person who requests or purchases a service from our
Organization will be requested (without obligation) to obtain and fill
out a questionnaire regarding your ability to afford such services. We
will then determine the amount of assistance we can provide you. We
operate on a sliding scale method and if you don't qualify for free services,
you may qualify for reduced rates.
Depending upon whether you purchase
services through our offices or from our web site, you will directed to a page which contains a downloadable
Adobe PDF file. Save and open this file to a location on your hard drive. Inside will be a
file with complete instructions.
How can I get help for someone I take care of?
Just ask us. We specialize in assisting others who are taking care of
another loved one. We provide an in-home evaluation of your situation and
can offer many different services to assist you. If necessary, we may also
provide discreet information to those persons who wish to help another without
revealing the source. We can provide our brochure and general information
to anyone you request.
What do I need to do?
Contact us and tell us how we may help you. Since each person's
situation is unique, you will need to contact us to determine which services we
provide may help you the most. All of our services qualify for free or
reduced rates. We will assist you in determining which services you need
and how to best pay for the service, if at all.
Who needs your services?
Actually, if you are retired, thinking of retiring or are helping someone who
is retired - YOU DO!
Can I get this service from other companies?
Although there are many companies who specialize in retirement, you will find
that each is typically focused on a singular idea or similar issues. We
feel that retirement comprises several different types of issues that are
complimentary and related, each affecting the other in many ways, that to focus
on a single issue is neglecting the whole. One cannot prepare a car for
winter with just a simple carwash. Rather, it should be examined and
prepared for in it's entirety: tune up the engine, possibly changing the spark
plugs and air filter, checking for worn tires and low air pressures, changing
the oil, etc.
